WSCC 2010 Convention

Drag Racing!

May 9th

Location: Las Vegas Motor Speedway

Here's your chance to drive on the same track that your NHRA campions come to every year for the NHRA finals. Once again here is another opportunity to try something new! Hot Nevada Vettes will have ride along teachers available during the test and tune runs. We're not promising to make you the best on the track but we will teach about the lights and launch so you can have a positive experience. For those of you who are experienced drag racers the track's state of the art timing equipment and top of line staff will give the WSCC a premier competition.

Drag Racing Rules of Competition

The WSCC Drag Racing Convention Competition is a bracket elimination style of competition. You are trying to be the most consistent driver. A lot of times, not the fastest car on the track wins the event. The track along with the Drag Racing Chairperson will manage the bracket eliminations. We have created a women's class to run first for those husband and wife teams. Other than that we cannot share cars with same sex drivers. It creates too much of a delay in the process.
